Clark State Awarded $2.5 Million Grant to Advance Manufacturing to Compete in a Global Economy

Clark State Community College has received a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor and U.S. Department of Education as part of the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training program totaling $2,497,885 to work with local manufacturers to develop new or redesigned stackable certificate programs.

Clark State to Host Workshop to Increase Community Collaboration

Clark State Community College will host local social service agencies and churches for a planning session on September 29, 2014. The event will be facilitated by Monieca West from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education and will focus on connecting Clark State students to resources in the Springfield community.

Clark State Community College just announced Colt Ford as the special country artist for the 2014-2015 Jeff Wyler/Clark State Country Artist Series at the Performing Arts Center. Scheduled to perform January 10, 2015, Ford’s natural blend of country and rap will take the stage at 8 p.m.
